Kiyan to Present at Annual Transfer Pricing Symposium

PCE’s 5th Annual Transfer Pricing Symposium brings together government, academic, and industry experts to discuss critically important international issues facing today’s Transfer Pricing professionals. It takes place April 27 & 28, 2017 at the University of San Diego. Kevin Kiyan is presenting on Friday from 10:30-12pm. He is on a panel titled “It’s Academic!...Current Macro and Micro Themes,” discussing a macro view of how proposed legislative changes may impact the approach to TP economic analysis. The panel will also discuss from a micro perspective, how a particular set of software tools can aid the TP practitioner on intangible asset analysis given current directions in IRS enforcement.

Kevin Kiyan is a Managing Director within the US National Tax office and the firm’s Transfer Pricing leader. Kevin has over 27 years of professional experience and has led all major aspects of Transfer Pricing issues, including planning/feasibility analyses, IP migration/ restructuring, cost-sharing, Advanced Pricing Agreements (APAs), audit defense/ litigation and global transfer pricing documentation. He has extensive experience serving clients in major industry sectors, including: media & entertainment, engineering & construction, apparel, retail consumer products, telecommunications/ networking, pharmaceuticals/ healthcare and software development/ data systems.
