Hirschfeld Speaking at TEI 55th Annual Tax Symposium in New York

Tax Executives Institute (TEI) is the preeminent association of in-house tax professionals worldwide. The New York Chapter for TEI is hosting its 55th Annual Tax Symposium which will take place on December 6, 2018 from 9:30am-5:00pm at the Sheraton Times Square Hotel in New York City. Michael Hirschfeld, Andersen Managing Director, will co-present on the topic of GILTI/FDII Tax Planning/Traps - the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. His presentation will be part of the afternoon session of the symposium.

The tax symposium offers three concurrent tax sessions for federal tax, SALT and international tax with a wide range of topics and tax experts. Specific topics during the symposium include the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), internal restructuring after tax reform, New York state tax updates, and the impact of the South Dakota vs. Wayfair case. 

Michael Hirschfeld is a Managing Director in the firm's US National Tax office, where he focuses on international, partnership, corporate and real estate tax planning and compliance. Michael has over 40 years of experience with tax issues that affect partnerships/LLCs, REITs, cross-border investing, real estate acquisition, finance and investment, private equity, distressed debt, mergers and acquisitions, pharmaceutical, energy, and clean technology clients.
