Freda Presenting at Interstate Tax Conference in Washington, D.C.

The Interstate Tax Corporation trains and updates state tax practitioners on how to properly navigate the interstate tax system. The company is dedicated to the education of multistate tax professionals in industry, consulting and government through four conferences held in the spring and fall of each year and its publication, Interstate Tax Insights.

The Interstate Tax conference on Sales & Use Tax Planning will take place on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the Hyatt Place D.C./U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. Ray Freda, Andersen Managing Director, will present on the topic of “Ethics and Managing the Sales and Use Tax Function.” This presentation will include a discussion about structuring sales and use tax function to maximize effectiveness while complying with personal ethical standards and those set by others.

Ray Freda has over 19 years of experience in state and local tax and advising clients with respect to income/franchise, capital, gross receipts, sales and use, property, employment and other state industry specific excise taxes. In addition, he has extensive transactional experience including sell side tax planning and EBITDA enhancement, due diligence, state tax structuring, transfer tax analysis and remediation and post-acquisition integration and planning.
