Ed Culhane has over 25 years of experience in delivering tax services to corporate enterprises primarily in the high technology industry. His practice focuses on advising corporate clients on federal, state and international tax strategies and tax compliance positions.

Ed has extensive experience in advising startup venture-backed high technology companies from the initial funding to the evaluation of appropriate exit strategies. In addition to high technology companies, Ed has in-depth knowledge of the retail, manufacturing and distribution industries.

Before joining Andersen, Ed was a Tax Partner and the Managing Director of the Massachusetts tax practice for UHY Advisors and has directed a high technology tax group at Arthur Andersen. He also has held management positions at General Electric, Dunn & Bradstreet, and Coopers & Lybrand.

Ed is a frequent speaker on variety of topics affecting high technology companies, including deferred compensation plans and research and development tax incentives.
