Andersen to Speak at TEI Wisconsin Event

Tax Executives Institute (TEI) is the preeminent association of in-house tax professionals worldwide. Members are business executives who are responsible for taxation matters on an administrative or policy-making level, or whose work is otherwise primarily concerned with the challenges of business taxation. TEI members are accountants, lawyers, and other corporate and business employees who are responsible for the tax affairs of their employers in an executive, administrative, or managerial capacity.

The Northeast Wisconsin TEI Chapter event takes place on September 21, 2017 at Butte des Morts Country Club in Neenah, WI. Its theme is Evolving Tax Issues: Practical Steps You Can Take Today.  Andersen Managing Directors Chuck Chubb and Mary Duffy will be presenting on the topic of “Assessing the Tax Implications of the New GAAP, IFRS Revenue Recognition Standard – Are You Ready?” Rosa De Luna-Frede, Managing Director at Andersen in Chicago is presenting on “Reflecting Accounting Method Changes and Tax Legislation on the Financial Statements” along with Chuck. The two are also speaking on “Accounting for Income Taxes – Business Combinations.”

Chuck Chubb is the Andersen National Practice Leader for ASC 740 Services and has over 30 years of experience advising a broad range of clients on accounting for income taxes and U.S. Federal, State and International tax technical issues.

Rosa De Luna-Frede has over 17 years of experience advising publicly held and private companies on tax matters such as Accounting for Income Taxes, Accounting Methods, Tax Controversies, and Federal & State Tax Compliance.

Mary Duffy in Andersen’s U.S. National Tax office and is the co-leader of Andersen’s accounting methods team.
