Andersen Sponsors Tax Executives Institute Meeting

Tax Executives Institute (TEI) is an international association of business executives responsible for the tax affairs of their employers. TEI has nearly 7,000 members who represent 3,200 of the leading businesses in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia. Through TEI and its 50-plus chapters worldwide, tax executives have access to the finest, most cost-effective tax training available; the camaraderie of their fellow tax professionals — who willingly share their insights, ideas, and experiences; and the ability to work collectively to improve tax policy and administration.

TEI’s 2017 Region VIII Meeting, including Atlanta, Baltimore-Washington, Carolinas, Florida, Kentucky, Nashville, and Virginia Chapters, takes place June 7- 11, 2017 at the Westin Hilton Head Resort in Hilton Head Island, SC.

In addition to Andersen sponsoring the event, U.S. National Tax Lead, Ellen MacNeil will present on Accounting Methods, Changes and Opportunities.

Ellen MacNeil is the Managing Director of US National Tax for Andersen. She has over 30 years of experience in tax consulting for major U.S. businesses. In addition, Ellen has served on the Board of Directors of The Tax Council. She has also served as chair of the ABA Taxation Section’s Tax Accounting Committee and chair of the AICPA’s Tax Accounting Committee. She has chaired the ABA Taxation Section’s Committee on Government Submissions and has also served as a member of the Executive Committee of the AICPA’s Tax Division.
