Stuart Ison is a member of Seattle’s Commercial Practice group. He has 29 years of experience in tax and has strong knowledge in all aspects of U.S. and international tax planning, including complex cross-border projects, intellectual property migration, and tax treaty planning. Stuart’s other specialties include foreign tax credit planning, tax efficient supply chain planning, and advanced pricing agreements.
Prior to Andersen Tax, Stuart was a Senior Principal at KPMG, where he led the global tax planning team. Before that, Stuart was a Senior Director of Global Tax Planning for Corning Inc. Earlier in his career, Stuart was an International Tax Partner at EY and worked in Hong Kong and Tokyo for five years, serving as the U.S. tax desk and local country leader.
Stuart is a frequent speaker on international tax topics in the US and Asia for organizations such as the International Fiscal Association, Tax Executive Institute, Chicago Tax Club, Hong Kong American Chamber of Commerce, Japan American Chamber of Commerce, Temple University, and BNA/CITE.
