Jim Goode has over 28 years of experience in delivering tax services to clients, including corporate and partnership entities as well as high net worth individuals and family groups. Jim uses a hands-on approach in working directly with entrepreneurs and closely held businesses in managing their corporate and personal tax needs.
Jim’s client base ranges from venture-backed startup entities to billion dollar international consolidated groups. He helps clients with tax planning, compliance, tax controversy resolution, implementing accounting for uncertain tax positions and FASB ASC 740. Jim also has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, as well as bankruptcy matters, forensic accounting and due-diligence engagements.
Jim has experience in a variety of industries, including the private equity, real estate, construction, manufacturing, service-based industries, high tech, restaurants and defense contractors.
Before joining Andersen Tax, Jim spent 10 years at PwC and 11 years at EY, working in both the financial assurance and tax practices.
Jim frequently appears as a speaker on tax and financial topics at professional and trade association meetings and seminars.
